Winter Weather

Out of the past 7 days we have been homebound, due to weather, for 5 of those days.  I really expected to have gone totally crazy by now, but my 3 children have completely surprised me.  That's not to say we haven't had a few touchy moments, but over all they have gotten along so well (and that's with limited TV, too).

Abby and Leah have really been getting into putting on plays and I think in those 5 days, they have put on at least 10 plays.  Ones about Fairies, Spies and even a Christmas show this morning, each singing about 5 of their favorite songs (or what they could remember of them).  These plays include scripts, props, costumes and even scenery and drapes to keep the audience in suspense.  Cameron plays right along side of them.  He doesn't really seem to know what is going on, but he just seems so happy to be playing along with his sisters.

I am proud to say, as I hear other parents complain about the snow days, I just get to sit back and watch another well rehearsed play by my 3 little budding actors.

On a side note, the weather hasn't been really bad.  We have just had extreme colds and freezing rain, which closes most of the streets in our school district.
