Kindergarten
goes to the Pumpkin Patch
Probably one of the best parts about being a Stay at Home Mom is being available to go on all of the kids' field trips. The Kindergarten one is always the best because its their first field trip and they are so excited.
This year it was a little bit chilly but as the day went on, it warmed up. Leah really enjoyed riding the school bus which is a new experience for her since I drive them to school every day.
When we arrived, we took a wagon ride out to the patch where they were instructed to pick any pumpkin but THEY had to be able to carry it back so don't pick one they couldn't carry. Leah picked one that was the perfect size and had a cute little stem. Then walking back to the wagon, she dropped it and snapped the stem right off. It didn't bother her though, she picked it up and we put it in my pocket to take home with us.
After they all picked their pumpkins they ate their lunch and then had lots of time to explore the Fun Farm where there was a maze, a playground, a huge slide, a haunted house, pumpkin cannon and so much more.
