Cameron's 1st Party

On the 18th we had Cameron's 1st Birthday Party!  The party theme was "BALLS" of course.  He is obsessed with balls of all kinds.  (He even loves acorns because he thinks he keeps finding little balls in the grass.).  We had ball decorations and he got balls, ball clothes and ball books.  What more could a little one year old boy want? 

The party was a lot of fun.  The cousins were here and neighbors and Grandmas and Grandpas and Aunts and Uncles, those important people in his life.  It was good right up to Cameron getting his hand burned because he grabbed his birthday candle.  After that, it took some coaxing to get him to try the cake and realize he wouldn't get burned again.  He's a trooper and eventually dived right into the chocolate!

Now its time for me to face the music.  He is no longer a baby.  He is now a Toddler.  Here come the tears.  But when we snuggle in the mornings in his rocking chair because he's just not ready to get up or at night when he can't sleep, he will still be my baby!
