Leah turns 6!!!

Happy 6th Birthday, Leah!!
I can hardly believe Leah is only 6 this year.  She seems so much older but at the same time I can't believe she is already 6 years old.

Leah had a great birthday WEEK!  It started off with dinner at Texas Roadhouse Saturday evening after church.  Leah picked this restaurant because she loves eating the peanuts all through our meal and also because she wanted to sit on the saddle while the staff sung Happy Birthday to her.  Both sets of Grandparents were able to join us to help celebrate with Leah!

Tuesday (August 28th) was her actual birthday.  We had a lot going on this day after school so Gregory went into work late so that he could be home while she opened her presents before heading to school.  Leah was greeted with a plate of homemade Hedgehog cookies that Gregory and I made the night before.  They turned out so cute and she enjoyed eating them and taking some in her lunch.
Later that day, Cameron and I went up to school to celebrate Leah's birthday with her by having lunch with her in the school cafeteria.  We brought her Arby's and got to eat with Leah and her classmates.  Leah was so excited to be celebrating her birthday for the first time at school.   (How cute is she with her Birthday crown?)

After school and dinner, Leah got to have soccer practice on her birthday.  She couldn't be more excited since she absolutely loves soccer!  After practice we met Grandma and Grandpa Scheidt, Uncle Douglas and Shawn and Ella at Orange Leaf for some birthday ice cream to celebrate a great birthday!!

I really think that Leah had a great several days of celebrating her 6th birthday!
