I keep hearing news reports about kids being lobotomized by so much technology. They are missing out on human interaction. Children are becoming isolated in their own little world of electronics. It may seem like my kids are a little young for this, but I am amazed at all the kids their age that got ereaders, ipod touches and ipads for Christmas.
I am proud to say that my kids are NOT slaves to technology.
Yes at the ages of 9, 6, & 4 they do not have to have their own Kindle, tablet or whatever the latest app device may be. Gregory and I don't even have smartphones. {Yet}
We had a four day weekend this week for Martin Luther King day. I am so impressed at how well Abby, Leah and Cameron played the whole entire time. With the exception of a little TV in the mornings while Mom and Dad slept in and a movie night or 2, they didn't even watch much TV.
They confined themselves, mostly, to their rooms playing their own versions of Harry Potter. Granted, they destroyed their rooms and had everything out. This is nothing a good 45mintues couldn't take care of when we cleaned it all up.
