We have come to the decision to NOT tell Abby (& Leah) about Logan's diagnosis. The more we thought about needing to tell her, the more we dreaded it. We just knew that she would be so emotional and latch on to the fact of Logan being sick. She would cry for days. We know our daughter.

We want her to appreciate Logan and enjoy the time she has with her. We don't want her to only think about Logan being sick. She would dwell on that. So we decided not to tell her. We are just focusing on spending time with Logan (and Riley) and giving her lots of hugs. Every time we leave the house, we make it a point to tell the dogs goodbye and we love them.

We feel this is the best decision for our family.
