The Magic Tree House & Abby

 Abby was introduced to the book series The Magic Tree House around Christmas time (2010) and she was instantly hooked.  It is a really great series about a brother and sister traveling through time exploring historical events and places.  She has learned so much while reading these books.  At this time there are 45 books.  {She started the series at Christmas and finished in early May.}

On January 17, 2011 the two sister writers came to the St. Louis County library for a book signing.  When we heard about this we knew we had to take Abby.  Its not every day that a child gets to meet their favorite author.  This was definitely an experience we wanted her to have.  We were not disappointed.  She got to meet the authors, listen to them speak about their writing and upcoming books and she got their autograph and a picture with them.  Even Greg and I really enjoyed the experience.
