The girls checked out the book Fancy Nancy and the Fabulous Fashion Boutique from the library at the beginning of the summer. After reading it several times, it took on a life of its own in the Scheidt household.
Abby and Leah (with lots of help from Cameron) opened their own Fashion Boutique in our backyard. They borrowed some nail polish and make up and went to work. Their Fashion Boutique offered manicures, pedicures, a foot soak, make-up, hairdo's, massages and even a tanning bed.
They set out a large blanket for the massages, make-up, & hairdo's. They used a large plastic mat for the manicures and pedicures as well as the foot bath. A towel and pillow out in the sun was their tanning bed.
I was lucky enough to receive a free "coupon" to check out their salon. After it was over, I felt very pampered.
