On Monday Abby and Greg went to the eye doctor. There's a new law (or whatever it's called) that all children entering into Kindergarten must have any eye exam. Greg was due for an exam and needed new contacts and so he took Abby. The days leading up to the appointment, Abby was quite apprehensive. She really didn't know what to expect and was worried it would hurt. No matter how much reassurance we gave her, we couldn't fully convince her that it would be fine. She told us just before that she was a little bit scared but a lot excited. When she got home I asked her how it was and she said it was good. She told me she read from a chart and the letters kept getting smaller and smaller until she couldn't see them anymore. (Her eyes are perfect!)
That evening while she was sitting on the toilet she was starring straight ahead at the light switch (which is covered in stickers). Greg walked by and she was covering one eye and saying the colors and shapes of the stickers, mimicking the eye doctor.
She has asked me 3 or 4 times when she gets to go to the eye doctor again. I told her not for another year. She said, "Oh Man!"

Suzanne (this is your mother) Dad called me in to look at Abby's hair cut. For the first five seconds I thought I was looking at you when you were that age. SPOOKY!
