Abby has been reading like crazy lately. We guess she is reading at least at a 1st grade level, if not higher. Yesterday when it was time to put Leah down for nap, Greg and I were trying to finish our lunch. We usually read some books to her before nap. Greg was sort of joking around with Abby and said something about her reading to Leah for nap. Both the girls jumped at this so we said, "What the heck! Let's see what could come of this." Abby went into the room and picked out a couple books that she could read and they jumped into bed together. We were so impressed. They snuggled up together under the covers and Abby started reading. We could not believe how well Leah laid there and listened to the stories. It was such a tender moment for me and made my heart smile.
