Leah was chosen to take her class pet/friend home and take care of him for the weekend (January 14th-19th). He is an orange and blue (stuffed) monkey named "Curious".
Leah had a lot of fun taking care of him. Everyday she fed him and he got to nap and sleep with her at night.
On Friday, we took Curious to the library. Leah and he picked out many books and then read some stories together.
On Saturday, Curious got to go on a roadtrip with us. We went to Jefferson City to celebrate Greg's Grandmother's 87th birthday. We all ate at Longhorn Steakhouse.
Leah was very proud and happy to show Curious off to all of her family. He took lots of naps in Grandma Wilmsmeyer's bed and got to eat cake and ice cream.
On Sunday, we had a lazy day watching TV, playing on the computer and playing Polly Pockets. Curious even had a good time playing with Abby and Cameron.
On Monday, Curious had to take a bath and get his hair brushed because he would be heading back to school.
Then we took Curious out to dinner to Culpeppers one last time before he had to head back to school. We also went to Hobby Lobby and then came home and played some games before bed.
Leah really enjoyed her time with Curious and was sad to see him leave. Hopefully he can come back and spend more time with us again!
