| Leah turns "5"! |
August 28, 2011........Leah 'finally' turned 5! She (to me) has seemed like she has been 5 for awhile now. She seems mature for her age, is so easy going and so smart. She has definitely added a different dynamic to our family that I couldn't imagine without her.
She started the day out with a chocolate chip pancake number 5, compliments of Chef Daddy!
We had a party for her at our house and invited the whole family and a few friends as well. Leah was so gracious and even shared her special day with her cousin, Allison, who soon would be celebrating her 13th birthday and Grandpa Rudolph who's birthday is the very next day.
After the guests all left, we were too exhausted to make dinner and let Leah pick some place to eat dinner (secretly hoping she would choose Steak-n-shake because children eat free on the weekends and she always wants to go there). She chose McDonald's. We obliged and all went. After dinner, the kids played on the play place for awhile before heading home. All in all, I believe Leah had a really good 5th birthday.
