Frog and Toad Together

We are amazed every night when Abby reads to us. I picked up some more books for her to read last week at the library. I saw this one and remember reading it when I was little and knew she'd like the story. As I thumbed through it, I thought she could definitely read it. As we sat down tonight to start reading, I was so proud of her. She read it so clearly and swiftly. We even talked about the book and she is comprehending what she is reading. I later went online to check the reading level and found it was for 1st thru 3rd graders. Abby is not even in kindergarten yet. I am so glad she has a love for reading so early in life. I hope this sticks with her.
