Leah and I were grocery shopping the other day. We were talking about what we should have for lunch that day when we passed by the big display of Entenmann's doughnuts. Leah shouted out, "Me want that!" I asked her if she was talking about the doughnuts and she said, "Yes, the black ones." She meant chocolate, but is still confused about black and brown colors. I asked her if that was what she wanted for lunch today and she said, "please". I said, "OH, I don't know, maybe" and kept walking. Of course deep down that is what I would have choose too but would never admit that to her and knew that wasn't a good idea for lunch. As we were getting in the car she asked where the circle things were. It took me a little while to realize that she was talking about the doughnuts. I told her I didn't buy them and she started crying and screaming. I tried to explain to her (over the excessive screaming) that they weren't very healthy for our lunch today. She asked if we could get them next time. I told her maybe they would be a good treat for our trip to Minnesota.
That's when she said, "Those circle things healthy in Minnesota?"
