Yesterday, our neighbors had a garage sale. I offered to help. The girls offered to have a Lemonade Stand. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen and was definitely a proud moment for me.
Friday night, the girls' and Greg made beautiful signs. The were so excited. Then we made the lemonade. They could hardly wait until the morning.
I got up early and went over to help our neighbors get started and Greg brought the kids over when they got up. The girls set up at the end of the drive way and started selling right away. They even had a sign that they used to walk up and down the drive way and to wave at people driving by.
They were very good business women. They made $10.60!! They are so proud of themselves. (a good majority of that money was from people telling them to keep the change or just donating because they were just so darn cute.)
Drew & I are going to set up a lemonade stand in your yard when you have a sale in September!(?)
ReplyDelete;-) Thanks for all your help on Saturday!!
SUCH a cute Picture Suzanne! What cuties.
ReplyDeleteoh, hey, it says on your profile that you're looking into books to read. Do you enjoy historical fiction (since you enjoyed The Other Boleyn Girl)? I think you might enjoy Outlander by Diana Gabalon. You should look it up at the library and see if you'd enjoy it. If you read a synopsis it'll sound corny and odd but it's a very touching and in-depth historical novel with the 7th installment due out in September.
