One big cookie

We wanted to do something special for Abby's last day of summer vacation so we made cookies while Leah and Cameron napped. Abby wanted to make chocolate chip cookies but she also wanted to use cookie cutters and sprinkles. However, chocolate chip cookie batter is too soft to use cookie cutters. I suggested making one large chocolate chip cookie. She loved the idea. As we were spreading out the batter she suggested just making an outline with cookie cutters on the dough. I thought that was a good idea but wasn't sure if when they rose if the outlines (indention) disappeared. She had another smart idea. She suggested laying the cookie cutters down and sprinkling the sprinkles inside them to make the shapes. Brilliant. She wanted to do each person's first letter in their name. So we found an A, L, C, S and G and started sprinkling.

It turned out looking cute. Hopefully it tastes good.
