ey and wants to constantly tell people how she feels about them. She also likes to talk about her best friends. The other day she said, "Mommy, best friend." (meaning I was her best friend) My heart absolutely melted. That makes me feel as good as being told I am loved. Of course, Diego is also her best friend and she goes back and forth between me and Diego as to who is her number one BFF. When ever we go anywhere that she may see her friend Grant she tells me that Grant is her best friend and she loves him.
Leah also has a "boyfriend". His name is Drew. He is our neighbor. No he is not the "kid next door" that she plays with. He is the Guy next door. Drew and Stephanie moved in last fall and we have enjoyed getting to know them over these past 6 months or so. Well Leah said the other day, "Love Drew". She always wants to go see if he can come out and play. She constantly talks about how he plays soccer and basketball with her.
Stephanie and Drew came over tonight for waffles. (Sorry guys that the waffle maker sucked and we had to have pancakes. We'll make it up to you) After dinner, I mean BRINNER, (that's breakfast for dinner) Abby, Leah, Drew and Stephanie played soccer in our family room for about 45 minutes. Believe it or not, they did not break anything. The girls had a blast and I know Leah will talk about it all day tomorrow.
You can just see in Leah's eyes how much she adores Drew by the way she looks at him. I think Stephanie feels a little jealous of a 2year old. She stated several times that she will need to watch out for Leah.
