This morning we took Abby, Leah, Cameron, Logan (our 13yr old Huskey) and Riley (our 4 year old American Eskimo) to get their pictures taken. We wanted to get some great pics of the kids and the dogs. We didn't really know what to expect. WOW what a morning!
When we got there, they first told us we could not use any coupons since we had dogs there. So I "pleasantly" voiced my opinion since they NEVER informed me of that and I would not have booked the appointment. So I turned to Greg and told him I would call my boss from the photography studio and have her take the pics. They then changed their tune and said that they'd accept our coupons since we were never told. We knew we were going to buy a lot of pictures due to Logan's diagnosis and we were also getting Cameron's 6 month pictures taken the same day. However, we NEEDED to have coupons or we wouldn't be able to do it.
So when they took us back to the room, everyone went in except Riley. He wasn't too sure, but we eventually coaxed him in. He was a bit skiddish, but luckily he never peed. That would have made us feel bad. Logan walked in and laid right down. Of course she wasn't in a posing position. The girls that worked there jumped right in to get everyone set up. I was quite impressed. There have been many times at that photo studio that we have been very unimpressed. As the photographer took the first picture, she realized the flash wasn't working. They called the company's help desk and ended up changing to a new camera. So about 20minutes later, we got started. We think that may have helped to get the dogs used to the room, but they actually did really good. We got a perfect shot of all 5 and a lot of really good shots.
When they were done, Greg took the dogs out to the car and they took Cameron's pictures. Despite being so tired, he hammed it up for the camera pretty good.
I can't wait to share the pictures when they come. I will post them for you all to see.
