Swingset

This weekend Greg and his dad started building our new swing set/play system. The girls are sooo excited. It is primarily put together. There are just a few things that need to be added on and parts that need to be leveled. Then we plan to landscape the area and fill it in with mulch (for safety of course).

It took up most of the day Sunday to get it up. We are thankful to Grandpa for doing this for us despite how tired he was from hunting all day on Saturday. The girls tried to "help" all day and would get upset when Dad and Grandpa were at a point where they couldn't use two tiny assistants. But whenever Grandpa found something little they could do, he would call out to them and they would come running to help.

The girls ask every day, practically every hour if they can go out and play on it. Unfortunately Monday, we didn't have time and it started raining on Tuesday so the backyard was a swamp. When Greg got home from work today (Wed) he worked on it a little more and the girls got to go out and play on it a little bit.

Abby told me today that she loves her new swing set and she is going to marry it. (She says she is going to "marry" something or someone when she wants to express who excited she is about it. I am pretty sure she realizes she can't really marry an inanimate object like a swing set.)
