"Rescue Leah"

While I was in the bathroom getting dressed, Cameron was sitting at his feeding table playing with toys. All of a sudden Leah burst into my room asking me to put a scarf around her neck. This is her newest game. She puts a scarf/cape on and pretends to be an animal rescuer like her favorite cartoon, Diego. So I put it on her and asked her what she was doing. She told me, "Rescue baby turtle." I asked her, "What happened to the turtle?" She said, "Turtle on floor. Cameron dropped it. Rescue it." I asked her how she was going to do this. She said, "Fly."

I followed her out to the kitchen as she flew down the hall. She swooped in and saved baby turtle from the floor and handed it back to Cameron. "Whoo, that was close" she said. I couldn't help but laugh. It is good to know we have a great rescuer in the house in case any of the baby animals are in trouble again.
